1. What is the most important concept you learned this semester? Explain the concept briefly and discuss why it is important.

The concept how the web is becoming the new style of community and how the internet is the new version of social networking. The idea that the web is almost source of doing everything an anything. I do believe though that the web can't do what people physically speaking can do. I think the web should be used as a source for communicating and a world of knowledge that is at anyones disposal. But I do think that this social networking can and should be controlled and regulated. Cause the fact that there are millions of people that can discuss what ever they want and it isn't properly monitored. I also think that the web is much less personal, but I think it is a great place to share and express your knowledge.

2. From all the new knowledge you gained in this class, choose 2 facts or ideas that make the biggest impression on you. Explain.

I learned that the validity of websites is a big issue and that there are places that can check these websites. I dont understand why you would put the effort to post something on the web that isnt real or true, whats the point? I also didn't know that the use of technology and the web were increasing like crazy. I never thought that the general new way of communicating was through the web. The video "The machine is us/ing us"by Michael Wesch shows how important the web is in are normal lives and how the web is becoming a new community.

3. What 3 skills will you take from this class, and how will you use them in the future?

I learned that there are websites such as http://www.diigo.com/ which helps you bookmarks and websites no matter what computer you are on.

Uploading videos to different webistes. And last but not least I learned how could present my ideas in many different ways. And how to present ideas so that viewers would not be confused by anything so that they could put all there focus on the presentation.

4. Look at the 4 global competencies (objectives) for the course. Which objective do you feel you developed to the greatest degree? What did you learn about that objective, how did you learn it, and why does it matter in the world?

The objective I learned the most on was the communicating ideas objective which you can view at**http://21globalleadership.wikispaces.com/Communicate+Ideas**. I learned that email and making a phone call is not the only way too get you idea or point across. You can do it many different ways. And that communicating on the web is much easier and it links and gives you many different sources and related knowledge that you are looking for. Web communicating and person to person communicating are way different but the both have there uses. The web version is great because you dont have to refer to anything you can physically show them.

5. What does it mean to be a global leader in the 21st century?

A person that understands general knowledge which is used everyday. A person that isnt scared to try new things and a person that is not biasee and a person that understands how to communicate and in the modern world all communicating is done through the web. A global leader is just a person that understands the foundation of humanity as a whole.
